Steve
Green -
During his childhood in
Argentina, with his missionary
parents,
Steve Green's experience with
music was simply a part of the
weekly church services
his father conducted.
After
returning to the states at age
18, he intended to major in
pre-law,
but a professor recognized his
musical talent and encouraged
him
to develop it. Thus began a
singing career which eventually
led him to
Middle Tennessee and Williamson
County in 1984.
Steve released his first
recording with Sparrow Label
Group in Brentwood,
Tennessee.
He
has had great success, garnering
eighteen number one songs,
six Dove awards and four Grammy
nominations. Music is the means
by which he communicates his
faith.
